Who We Are
Scratch Supply Co. is an independent, family-owned local yarn shop with an enthusiastic staff and inspiring atmosphere. We welcome makers of all sorts and skill levels to learn, create, and explore the fiber community.
We curate our inventory with intention and partner exclusively with suppliers who engage in sustainable and community-sustaining practices. We seek out and showcase indie, women, BIPOC, queer, and otherwise underrepresented dyers and makers. Scratch is a size-inclusive and body-positive community.

In a digital world that feeds on people’s poor self-esteem, values fast consumption and unlimited growth, slow fashion is a political act.
Modern fast fashion means that handmaking clothing is not essential, but we do it because we love it. Whether you're exploring or already love it too, we're here to help you.

We at Scratch Supply Co. recognize that site accessibility is important. It is our mission to provide a positive customer experience to all of our customers, with the aim of promoting accessibility and inclusion. To that end, we strive to meet all WCAG 2.0 guidelines, and continually update our site in compliance with new guidelines as they evolve.
Whether you are using assistive technologies like a screen reader, a magnifier, voice recognition software, or captions for videos, our goal is to make you as welcome on our website as you are in our physical store.
