There are a couple of parts to our sponsorship.
We premiered this program last year as a way of increasing financial accessibility of the event, and we're incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to continue it this year.
Recipients of the scholarship will receive on General Admission to either the in-person or virtual event; an Indie Untangled tote bag; and $200 to spend in the marketplace or on travel costs.

We're really excited about sponsoring the Indie Untangled picnic area. In addition to a chance to submit Dear Scratch letters in person, we are going to be hosting a Handmade Swap!
The idea is to help your handmade objects find a new home. Think of it as a Little Free Library for your creations. Maybe you made way too many hats during COVID, or you knit a sweater that just didn't turn out quite the way you hoped, or your body has changed - whatever the reason, bring your finished objects to the picnic area and leave them on the swap table.
Oh yes, and you might find something new-to-you to take home, too!
We ask that all garments brought to the swap be in clean condition (recently soaked and blocked). Visible mending is encouraged. We will have tags and pens available for you to leave messages for the item's recipient if you wish, or you could write a note at home... or not, it's up to you!
Any items that are unclaimed at the end of the day and anything specifically designated as a donation by the person who brings it will go to Upper Valley nonprofits that support underserved populations.
